This video teaches children how to read and obtain information off graphs. Typically, graphs are representations of data obtained from observations. For example if children went to a farm and saw different kinds of farm animals, they may decide to create a table containing pictures of those animals then proceed to writing out the total number of animals under eacg group. That data can be used to plot bar graphs and linear graphs. In kindergarten and first grades, this acttivity is made fun by actually using colorful pictures on graphs called pictographs. With the current video, children will master how to read and interprete graphs seamlessly. Below is also an interactive online quiz on graphs which students can use to further review this skill. Have fun and tell us what you think.
