Basketball Game Online On Comparing Numbers

Comparison of numbers using expressions <, > or =

Numbers do not have the same amount, 1 is smaller than 2, and 10 is a bigger number compared to 5. All numbers are smaller and larger than the other, numbers with the same value are, of course, equal. But how do we compare numbers using the expressions <, > or =?
If a number is smaller than the other number, < symbol is used. < is called a less than symbol, it is used when a number is relatively less than the number being compared to it. For example, 1 < 5 which reads as 1 is less than 5, which is a fact because 1 is indeed smaller than the amount of 5.
Next, if a number is larger than that of the other number, then > symbol is used. > is called a greater than symbol, as what the name suggests, it is used when a number is greater than the number being compared to it. For example, 5 > 1 which is read as 5 is greater than 1, which is true as 5 is indeed bigger than the value of 1.
Lastly, the = symbol symbolizes the equality between numbers being compared. For example, 10 = 10 which is read as 10 equals 10. This symbol is used when, just like the example, the two numbers being compared are of the same value.
To summarize, the usage of <, > or = symbols can do so much to numbers especially those that are in comparison.
