Learn about fractions with shaded circles

The representation of fractions in figures is mostly with shaded parts and that is no different from learning about fractions with shaded circles. So basically, if you have a circle you just need to part them following what number the denominator is. For example, if you have the fraction of 3/8, you have the denominator of 8 therefore the parts of the circle should be divided into 8. And in our example, we have 3 as our nominator meaning the shaded parts in the circle should be 3 to represent the fraction of 3/8.
Let’s have another example, for instance, a ½ pizza which represents two equal parts with 1 piece of it dedicated to you and the other one to your sibling making your pizza and their pizza ½ and divided equally to the both of you. You see, using fractions will not only make it easier for you to have equal parts in a pizza but also determine how many parts of the whole are needed.
A circle is one of the most familiar shapes or figures that most people use when representing a fraction, aside from this it’s more versatile to use as you can cut it into multiple parts like a pizza. Additionally, fractions can be easier to understand with a representation rather than just explaining it to the learners. You just have to draw a circle, divide it into the parts of the denominator, and let the learners shade the part of the numerator to help them interact and understand how fraction works.
