5th grade addition up to hundred of thousands - Hey, fellas! Craving for more brain food? No worries at all, because our Math games are not ending yet! Have you ever helped your parents with adding up house bills or the amount spent on your groceries? You may need a calculator when dealing with bigger numbers, right? But you can also choose to take the manual way so that it will improve your Math skills. Well if you do either one of the methods, congratulations kids, you are now an addition master! For today’s fun and informative event, we will take you on a more relaxed and enlightening ride, because we will be merely exploring addition, but with up to hundred thousands! Yes, it may sound truly overwhelming, but do not be scared, because we are here, your fellow wizards, to guide you! Here is the easy-peasy process: Firstly, arrange the numbers to be added in columns, ones under ones, tens under tens, so on and so forth. Secondly, proceed on adding the digits in each column. If encountered a sum with more than 2 digits, use the carry-over technique to transfer the second digit (tens place)  of that number to the next column on the left and add it along with the digits in that column. Lastly, continue the process until all the digits of all columns are finally added! And that is actually it, very short and very easy! The development of a comprehensive understanding of addition is necessary for later concepts such as other arithmetical operations, measurement-based computations, and algebra.
