Solving item after item in a tradition pen and paper worksheet can quickly get boring, though, especially to young minds that need a little stimulation from time to time. To help your child stay immersed in their math studies, we’ve prepared this basic multiplication war game for kids online.
Instructions
Your child will take control of a covert ops soldier who must escape from enemy lines. They move by rolling the glowing dice. Reaching the end at the lower right corner wins the game.
The route to safety is fraught with many dangers, however. Bomb traps, enemy Special Forces troops and even a solitary commando can fire at the player if they get too close, sending them two spaces back. Grenade traps also repel the player, but only by one space. Landing near a tank, however, launches the player all the way back to the first space.
Each turn ends with the player solving a basic multiplication problem to escape enemy patrols. If they choose the wrong choice, they get shot back a couple of steps.
