Convert decimals to fractions wheel of fortune game - From the last game, we converted fractions to decimals, now we're doing the opposite: decimals to fractions.
For us to convert decimals into fractions, we must first
Write down 0.75 divided by 1 for it to become a fraction form.
Now we multiply both numerator and denominator by 10 for every number after the decimal point.
Example:
Convert 0.75 to a fraction.
If there's only one, we multiply by 10 but since there's two numbers after the decimal point we will multiply by 100 (10*10).
Now we simplify to the simplest form. We must find a common factor with the numerator and the denominator. They're common factor is 5.
Can this still be simplified? The answer is yes so we divide it again by 5.
