Multiplying by 5 can be done in the ff strategies:
- Multiply the multiplicand by 10 and then divide by 2.
For example: 38 x 10 = 380
380/2 = 190
38 * 5 = 190
- Counting by five or skip counting- for simple single digit numbers divided by 5, this is the easiest strategy you can get.
